What tasks can we do?

We provide extensive administrative and digital support to keep your business running smoothly. We cover: Administrative Support: Inbox management, calendar management, travel booking, customer service, data entry, and documentation. Sales & Marketing Support: Research, lead generation, CRM/mailing list management, content creation and management (including updating and repurposing), social media management, affiliate link management, and backlink building. Online Business Management: E-commerce store management, digital product creation and management, and website creation and management. Reporting & Analytics: Comprehensive reporting and data analysis to help you make informed decisions.​ ​Don't see a specific task listed? We're always open to taking on additional administrative duties. Depending on what they are, we may require a brief training period for new requests.

What if I want 30 hours/week?

We can offer a ten-hour weekly add-on for a special price of $391/month to customers on the Business Class Plan (20 hours/week). This will top you up to a total of 30 hours/week.

What if I want 15, 25, or 35 hours/week?

Special add-ons for these are not available at this time.

I'm interested in trying out an assistant but I'm not sure if I want to commit to two whole months until I know how they do. Can you help?

Yes! For established clients, we require 30 days notice to cancel, meaning you will need to let us know in writing by emailing contact@astrolabeassistants.com at least 30 days before your next monthly payment is due. However, new clients can try Astrolabe Assistants for 30 days risk-free, meaning you can cancel at any time in your first 30 days. If you do, you won't receive a refund for the month you already bought, but you won't be obligated to pay for a second month.

What if I'm unhappy with my assistant?

Reach out to us at contact@astrolabeassistants.com ASAP with any feedback you have. We will do whatever we can to make it right, including coaching your assistant or finding you a new one if necessary.

What is an astrolabe, anyway?

An astrolabe is an ancient handheld scientific instrument that was used for timekeeping and navigating by the stars, like a 6th century GPS. The idea we want to convey by using that word in the name of our business is that our clients are going to get super precise, old-fashioned human (not robot) support from star performers.

Do I have to pay tax on your services?

Not usually. If you are also in Washington state, there is a 1.5% B&O tax that will be invoiced separately. If you are based outside the U.S. then we are also required to collect VAT (or your country's equivalent) in certain cases. Usually this VAT or equivalent tax applies only if you're purchasing our services for personal use and not on behalf of a registered business. Business clients outside the U.S. may need to self-account for VAT via the reverse charge mechanism. Just indicate where your business is registered when you fill out the form on our "Get Started" page and we will respond with a complete assessment of the taxes we need to collect if you proceed with our services.

How are you designed for digital nomads?

All of our assistants are experts at booking travel. All are highly vetted for ability to thrive working remotely. Many people are visual, in person, or hands-on learners that don't do well working in a remote environment and following detailed written instructions. I've spent years developing and refining reliable methods to screen those people out. All of our assistants are also highly experienced at working asynchronously due to time zone differences.
